Many activists are located in Manchester, and as the largest city in New Hampshire, it’s important to work to demonstrate how many people support a ceasefire resolution and statehood for Palestine in this city.
One way to push support for a ceasefire resolution is to contact your city Alderman and let them know that you support this action, and you’d like to see a resolution passed by the city for it. If you need help finding out who your city Alderman is, one of our members created an app that helps you find it simply by entering your address.
Once you’ve discovered who your Alderman is, you can contact them to help push for peace by encouraging them to support a city-wide ceasefire resolution.
Many activists attend the Board of Mayor and Alderman (BOMA) meetings every other Tuesday at 7pm to use public time to comment on the conditions and demonstrate the lack of action being made by the city right now. These are currently happening on the odd-numbered weeks of this year. You can always check the schedule, too.
If you’d like to join an active petition to show support by numbers for a citywide ceasefire resolution, we welcome your support.
